Why did she move to Berlin?

Natalie came to Berlin to visit when she was in high school and later studied abroad until she ultimately moved to Berlin in 2019.

She’s worked as a content creator and copywriter for the last couple of years, and despite the pandemic decided to double down on her travel blog work, and has moved forward quite a bit since she began.

Step by step actions to plan the blog articles

She broke down her planning in this episode with step-by-step actions in a way that's very understandable for the reader.

  • First of all, she uses Trello, Notion, and Google Sheets to plan everything at the beginning of the month before moving on to:

  • Topic Research

  • Re-organize the topic after research

  • Technical Research such as keyword research

  • Photoshoots and interviews

  • Photo editing

  • Writing

  • Pin creation and upload to Pinterest

  • Publishing

     

    Time Saving Trick that I taught Natalie in Our Coaching Sessions

    When you have so much to do on your list, the best way is actually to put the same tasks on the same day or same half-day. For example, she can focus on social media one day and blogging a different day thus, she does not have to switch in between tasks.

    However, In order to do that, you also have to plan a couple weeks to a month ahead so that you can do all the same tasks in one day.

    How to drive traffic using Pinterest?

    Pinterest has more than 300 Million users, this is the fourth biggest search engine in the world. To drive traffic to your blog, Natalie says that she does the following steps:

    • Create Pin post on Canva

    • Hashtag Research

    • Snippet on website

    • Post on Pinterest
